This bass reeks of personality and performance... and this bass has seen literally hundreds if not thousands of gigs in it’s 40 years... and it plays beautifully and commands some serious respect! Setup by me here at my shop... the strings are brand-new and the intonation and setup is spot on... studio ready! Please see my feedback concerning my setups! The pick-guard may or may not be original... the pickup has been replaced with a Fender 62’ Reissue Fender Precision pickup... the knobs are of a mid/late 70’s, early 80’s Fender Precision Bass... the potentiometers are a Dimarzio from 1975 and a CTS from 1977... the sound is huge and very woody... the pickup does wonders picking up the basses naturally intense resonance... the bass has great sustain and you can feel it vibrate through-out the body and neck as you play... Comes with a non-original hard-shell case and the case is in pretty rough shape... Fender and other brands have some lines of instruments geared toward instruments that look worn... this one has gotten there the only real way you can... by actual play-wear...
